Valcor Security is a veteran-owned security company protecting residential, corporate and retail properties across Los Angeles. We are hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a residential high rise building in Downtown LA.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: We need officers who can work Morning, Swing and/or Graveyard shifts
Employment: W-2, paid sick leave, overtime paid when worked

What you will do

• Patrol the property on a set schedule and document every round in our Belfry app
• Control access and verify residents, employees, visitors and vendors
• Check gates, doors, lighting and parking, and report hazards
• Report trespassers and suspicious activity, and respond by the post orders
• Write clear daily activity and incident reports
• Keep a professional, alert, visible presence for the full shift
• Single-officer post, so we need people who can work independently and hold a post without supervision on site

What you need

• Active California BSIS Guard Card
• Reliable transportation and on-time attendance
• Ability to stand, walk and patrol outdoors in any weather
• A working smartphone
• Clear spoken and written English

Preferred

• Security, military or law-enforcement experience
